Hello all… here’s my review of Jefferson Pepper’s American Evolution Volume 1, which the press release delightfully describes as country music for people who hate country music. In the traditional press release manner (I should know, I write some myself!) this is some way wide of the mark, but the end result’s an album with some splendid stand out moments anyway.

Reviews have slowed to a trickle lately - sorry about that. I blame the whole working 9-6 thing that convention has me doing. Two more reviews on the way - one game and one album. Stay tuned (please?).
New review’s up - Colin Macintyre’s The Water. Unfortunately had to hammer this one out quickly in a lunchbreak, due to other comitments in my evening but hopefully it’s not too obvious.
I had high hopes for this one too, being a fan of Mull Historical Society - the sad truth is its just an average indie rock album with a couple of standout moments. Booo.
It’s been a pretty slow start to the year, but things should liven up around here soon. I have three promos about my person, all of which should undergo my scrutiny before the end of the week, which should mean this site gets some additional content rather soon.
Anyway, here is my latest contribution - a preview of a 2 year old PC game, Democracy. Confusing, but ultimately entertaining.
