I didn’t know who Amy Studt was until last week. Misleadingly labeled as a singer songwriter in the press release, she’s actually more of a former pop princess turned semi-serious Tori Amos imitator. It’s pretty telling that from listening to the album once, I could accurately guess the kind of Avril Lavigne wannabe content she was coming out with before she went all Syliva Plath on an unsuspecting world’s collective arse.
The one bright thing to come out of the hours of my life lost on listening to it is that, if Wikipedia is to be believed, the album is download only. This means the promo I so callously laid into may quite valuable one day. I have no idea who to, though, as you’ll tell from my review.
The released album had 5 songs pulled, If there is anyway i could buy those songs from you i would be eternally grateful.
Hi there,
I actually think the tracklisting on the site is wrong, because I remember thinking it didn’t match when the review went up. As such, I suspect I havet the same tracks as the released version, though I’d have to check.
But even if I did have the missing tracks, I’m afraid there’s absolutely no way I can help - selling promos is a sure fire way to get into hot water in this industry, so I’m going to have to hold onto it.
Thanks for your comment,
Alan
Thats fair enough i thought it may not be the case but thought i would atleast ask. One mans trash really is another mans treasure.
Were there more than 10 tracks on the version u were sent?
Yep, having checked, the promo has 10 tracks on it.
So it seems mine was the normal version anyway!
